"Jayne County's Sex! Art! Music!" a "Happening" to celebrate the influence of the Punk Rock aesthetic on art and culture, will begin with an opening party at The Kymara Gallery, located in The North Dam Mill, 2 Main Street, Biddeford, Maine on August 28, 2010, from 7-10 PM. This historic show will feature a live performance by the punk rock legend Jayne County and her new band The War Holes featuring Agitpop bassist Milo Rock and Bentmen drummer Frank Coleman.

The show, which had a successful run at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City, will include the art of Jayne County, who is being hailed as the "Grandma Moses of Pop Art" along with recently discovered photographs by Warhol Superstar Billy Name, new work by Mick Rock and Tubes drummer Prairie Prince. Also represented in the show are Shepard Fairey, Anton Perich, Rock photographer John Conroy, The Floydian Device, Underground artist Philly Abe, Detroit Punk Rock photographers, Sue Rynski and S. Kay Young, the Internationally renowned music group Muha,Warhol Superstars Mary Woronov, Louis Waldon, Ultra Violet, and the work of NY Antè Art Superstars Fernando Carpaneda, Miestorm, Ian Couch, Alexander Kaminski, Kymara and Milo Rock.

The opening will also honor Warhol Superstar Billy Name and the opening of The Billy Name Museum in 2011. In the tradition of a "Happening" spontaneous performance is encouraged. The event will be catered by Blue Elephant Catering, Saco, Maine and will feature locally produced food and beverages along with a dessert by The legendary Serendipity 3 of New York City. Hosts include New York City's #1 party host and Studio 54 Superstar, Miestorm along with Kymara, Milo Rock and Superstar Street Artist Alexander Kaminski.

Admission for the 21 + Jayne County performance and party is $10.00 with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Animal Welfare Society of The Kennebunks.
